The green color palette, combined with the intention of creating a welcoming atmosphere, became the guiding thread of this project: the transformation of a former office space back into its original residential use.

Faced with a dark, fragmented layout filled with outdated partitions and obsolete materials, MLKT envisioned a complete refurbishment that restores the soul of a home.

The design approach focuses on three key strategies:

  • Harnessing natural and artificial light to define and enrich every corner.

  • Introducing color and natural wood to create a warm, timeless identity.

  • Opening up the layout through selective demolition, giving way to a generous open-plan living, dining, and study area, subtly divided by custom lattice furniture that adds character and personality to the space.

At the heart of the project, a green core housing the wet areas becomes the central axis around which daily life flows—turning this Emerald Villa into a home that embodies comfort, identity, and contemporary living.
