Building a city

The building resolves this complex corner of the city. On one side, it faces a fairly important road, and on the other, an uphill pedestrian alleyway with smaller buildings.

The project attempts to resolve this dual urban context by means of a corner tower solution. It establishes continuity through horizontal bands with the adjacent building on Calle Almería, and is set back on the pedestrian alleyway to resolve the encounter with the smaller-scale building that follows it.

All of the dwellings face outwards, which has required an in-depth typological study.
