The colour green, together with the intention of creating a welcoming space, has been the guiding principle behind this project to convert an old office back to its original use as a home.

Faced with a dark and fragmented workspace with obsolete offices and materials, MLKT proposes a comprehensive renovation to restore its original use.

The proposal focuses on three actions. The interplay of natural and artificial light to add nuance to every corner, the use of colour and wood to achieve a warm home with identity, and the demolition of some divisions, giving rise to a common space comprising the living room, dining room and a very spacious and open study, divided only by latticework furniture that gives the home personality.

The green core containing the wet areas becomes the central axis around which life revolves in this Emerald villa.
