It’s difficult to find a characteristic housing typology in the area; there’s a certain anarchy or disorder. So, from the outset, the aim was to create a design with its own identity, based on sound functional organization and the pursuit of harmony and proportion in the volumes.

A bold architectural response: a volume with solids and voids, recesses and projections, resulting in a rich spatial experience. There’s a sense of physical and visual continuity between interior and exterior, extending the house into the garden and, in turn, bringing the garden into the house.

Inside, the layout revolves around the double-height living room, which is the heart of the home. The more public spaces are located downstairs, connecting with the outdoors; the more private spaces are upstairs, arranged around the living room.
