Our customer purchased an old apartment in a neighborhood by the sea in Malaga. It had light-filled rooms facing to three façades. However, it had a very long corridor which made it feel obscure the apartment from the inside.
We proposed change this sensation and relate different spaces with light in a natural and fluid way. So we decided to change the closed and rigid kitchen into a semi-opened wood volume. This kitchen becomes the heart of the home being the connexion between private rooms and public zones. Now everything happens around the kitchen.
As a Japanese garden, this kitchen transforms the life in this apartment.
