Gamer Basement Setup

Type: Corporate, Interiors

Client: Particular

Use: Leisure and work space

Site: Málaga

The project transforms an empty basement into a space charged with energy and intensity for enjoying games and creating digital content.

Geometry is actively present as a tool for organising the space, as if it were a honeycomb. It is present both at floor level and in the suspended ceiling that integrates the lighting. The geometry in the form of irregular hexagons conceals a series of pre-existing pillars in the premises and takes on a very significant value as it provides the space with a wide range of angles and views from which to record content.

The premises, intended for leisure and work, are composed of the following uses: an arcade area, a billiards area, a relaxation area where you can play or watch games in a group, and a bar where you can have a drink with friends, as well as the setup from where the games and content are recorded.

In terms of colour, red has been used primarily to create a recognisable atmosphere with identity, and the main material is textured ribbed sheet metal.
